Turtle Shire Mountain Ranch Rules
We want your visit to the ranch to be a wonderful spiritual experience. Therefore, we ask all visitors to adhere to just a few simple rules:
- Absolutely no violence at any time. This includes any physical contact done out of anger.
- Respect the property lines. Do not trespass on neighboring property. Ensure that you understand the boundaries by asking a staff member.
- No alcohol or illegal drugs are allowed on the property. Any abuse of legal drugs is also prohibited.
- All firearms must be declared upon entering the premises. We may ask you to check certain firearms for safekeeping.
- No discharge or display of weapons is allowed at any time. Exceptions: in the event of an imminent threat to human life, or by staff members appointed to security detail. Any threat to domestic animal life or property requiring the use of weapons must be handled by Turtle Shire Mountain Ranch staff.
- Engaging in dangerous or potentially dangerous activities is prohibited. Do not climb rocks, handle dangerous wildlife, or wander unfamiliar grounds in the dark.
- Keep profanity to a minimum – remember, there may be young people or those made uncomfortable by such language present.
- No dogs or other animals are allowed in or near the lodges.
- Tradition states that women must wear skirts while inside any lodge.
- Tradition states that no hats may be worn in any lodge unless such hat has an eagle feather attached.
- Leave it as you found it – no littering, no harm to the earth.
